Allison L’Ecuyer

Student Worship Leader

Allison is a fourth year music education major at West Virginia University. She plays violin, bass, a little bit of guitar and piano, and sings as well. Originally from Wheeling, West Virginia, her musical inspiration comes from both her parents who are also musicians. She has been playing worship music since 2012 and has been involved with C3’s worship team since 2014. Outside of the church, she performs in a lot of local areas and enjoys reading, exercising, and crafting.

Fun Facts

Why is C3 special to you?

C3 is special to me because of the friendly and welcoming environment everybody fosters. Everybody takes the time to get to know their newcomers, and it really makes for developing more personable relationships.

Name at least two things you do very well.

Playing music and showing enthusiasm in all I do.

Name at least two things you don't do very well.

Maintaining conversation and making decisions on the spot.

Tell us about one of the most fun things you've ever done.

One of the most fun things I have ever done is participate in a summer program called West Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts. It was three weeks of learning more about the appreciation and collaboration of music, writing, studio art, graphic design, and dance. It was a lot of fun to work with a variety of artists with so many talents and gifts, and we were able to create so many unique projects while growing individually as artists. This experience really stuck out to me because creativity and collaboration are huge factors in any form of teamwork.

If you had two hours of absolute free time, what would you do?

I would either practice, read, or goof off. It depends on the day.

believer...doubter...skeptic

Doubt is natural… Believers need to wrestle with the same questions that skeptics ask. Many believers "inherited" their faith and may have never asked these questions. Both doubters and believers have a moral and intellectual responsibility to examine their doubts and beliefs. C3 is a place that encourages this to happen. Learn more
