C3 Statement on COVID-19

C3 Church is continuing to monitor COVID-19 updates very closely and their implications for our church and our broader community. Due to concerns about public gatherings during this time  and following the closing of schools in our region (West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania) and the Governors of these states recommending not to gather in large groups we have decided to cancel gathering together in person until further notice. This includes all services and weekly events.

Your Pastors, Elders and leadership teams have been working on this for weeks and feel based on prayer, discussions with State and local officials and the newest information available that this is the right choice at this time.

This Sunday, our message will be available online by 8am.

This is not a decision we have made out of fear, but faith.  Because the Bible calls us to care for one another and love one another (and all our neighbors) as ourselves, we believe the best way we can do that in light of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is by not gathering in person.  We are trusting God in the midst of this crisis.  There has never been a moment our God was not loving, and to this day He has a purpose and a plan for our lives and this world.

It can feel disheartening to not be able to gather together on Sunday as the body of Christ. But instead of feeling discouraged, we invite you to see it as a missional opportunity. We suggest that you find ways to care for the vulnerable in your community.  Consider those who live around you who may be at high-risk and consider how you can safely serve them in this historic moment.

Please stay connected with us online through our website, on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  Please know that our staff is passionate about continuing to support you in the weeks and months to come. If you have a need or would like someone to pray with you, please contact us by calling the church at 304-905-9000 or contacting us through our website.  We will keep you updated thorough email, social media and our website in the coming weeks.

Longing to see you all face to face while we are “separated in person, but not in heart” (1 Thes. 2:17),

C3 Pastors and Staff

believer...doubter...skeptic

Doubt is natural… Believers need to wrestle with the same questions that skeptics ask. Many believers "inherited" their faith and may have never asked these questions. Both doubters and believers have a moral and intellectual responsibility to examine their doubts and beliefs. C3 is a place that encourages this to happen. Learn more
