Ohio Valley Church Blood Drive

The Ohio Valley's Third Annual Church Blood Drive will take place on August 21 from 9 AM-3 PM. This is a chance for all the churches in the Valley to come together and make a positive impact on the communities where we live. This year we are also adding the opportunity to be tested as a possible bone marrow donor for inclusion on the Be the Match registry. There is no cost to the donor for testing or donation, but each test cost the organization $65, so individual, organizational, and corporate donors are being sought to help defray the cost.

You can sign-up for the blood drive by going to www.redcrossblood.org. Click in the box in the upper right corner to Make a Donor Appointment. Enter Sponsor Code C3 to find this drive and sign-up for a donation time. It is important for us to have an idea in advance how many people to expect so that the Red Cross can assign enough collections staff. We appreciate your support in preregistering.

Been There, Done That

On Wednesday, August 4 @ 7 PM, there will be a new opportunity for all women of C3 - both young and those a "little bit" older - to come together for fun, food, and fellowship. Dinner will be provided and there will be a short devotional. For those interested, we will also discuss starting a Woman-to-Woman Mentoring Program where those who have lived "it" can share experiences and advice with those currently in the midst of "it." This could apply to marriage, family, or career circumstances. RSVP to the church office or women@C3Wheeling.org so we can plan for enough food. Also let us know if you need childcare. Come and share with the women of C3.

Graduate Recognition

It is our custom at C3 to recognize our graduates in early August so we can pray for them as they step out into the next phases of their lives. This year we will be recognizing high school and college grads during the 10 AM worship service on August 8.
